Energy Survey
Activity:
A full scale survey was required to look at improving efficiencies at a farming/processing business. Not much could be improved as they were already well on the road to being energy efficient, however, following site inspections, it was identified that savings could be achieved by applying different working patterns.
Observations:
It is easy to sometimes overlook simple things. In this case, by changing shift patterns not only was consumption reduced but a better working environment was created by introducing greater flexibility in working hours and ultimately saved money.
